Tweeple give dislikes for BJP tie up with Naidu TDP
Twitteratti unhappy over BJP - TDP tie up
Hyderabad: TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu said his party’s alliance with the BJP was meant to protect “national interests,” but several Tweeple disapproved of the alliance in Telangana and said it would be detrimental for the BJP.
Anger against the BJP alliance with TD was palpable in discussions on Mr Naidu’s alleged diluted stand on the Telangana issue. “But by allying with TDP Naidu, who is [Telangana] traitor, you have insulted [Telangana] BJP and lost the respect of people,” V. Shyam Sundar Reddy wrote on the microblogging site Twitter.
Surender tweeted, “Most of BJP favorable voters in Telangana are quitting in protest of TDP-BJP alliance [in Telangana]. [Thanks] [Narendra Modi] for political suicide.” Another Twitter user Shiva tweeted, “In Telangana, it’s either going to be TRS or Cong, any other party making inroads is highly unlikely.” Some also said, they would have voted for BJP if it had gone alone in the elections. “What would have happened if you have fought alone for all seats in Telangana. [People] would have voted [you]. TDP is Seemandhra Party,” another Twitter user Santosh Reddy tweeted.
TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu had earlier tweeted, “State benefited when we allied with NDA in the past. In the same spirit, we sealed a deal with BJP today for nation. INC to be wiped out.”
