Legend has become the biggest hit of Balakrishna’s career, surpassing even Simha. “The film is doing phenomenally well. Also, this is the first time that a Balakrishna film is doing well overseas,” says producer Anil Sunkara. In the past week, the entire unit, including Balakrishna, toured Andhra and has now entered Telangana.
“Wherever he goes he draws huge crowds and it really helps boost the collections,” says Anil, refusing to comment on how much business it will do in all. Interestingly, the satellite rights of the film haven’t been sold yet and the makers are looking for a good price. “We haven’t given the satellite rights to any channel as we are waiting for a good amount,” says Anil. He adds that they are going to hold a grand success meet on April 10 in Hyderabad.
