H.N. Ananth Kumar vs Nandan Nilekani: A David vs Goliath battle?

The battle is going to be tough between five-time MP and the co-founder of Infosys

Mumbai: The co-founder of Infosys and the man behind the Aadhaar card, Nandan Nilekani will contest the Bengaluru South seat on a Congress ticket in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. He will take on the BJP heavyweight and 5-time MP, H.N. Ananth Kumar.

It will be an interesting contest as the constituency has over 22 lakh voters. Mind games have already started with the BJP leader maintaining that the Congress candidate is just 18 days old to the constituency, while he has been around for 18 years. On the other hand, Nilekani says that’s not important, but the fact that the achievements of Kumar were insignificant.

Nandan Nilekani

Star Speak: Ganesha observes the Surya Kundli of Nandan Nilekani and notes that Natal Saturn, which is retrograde, rules the 10th House with the Natal Moon in the 6th House.

What does it mean? These astrological factors indicate dealings with the government and its agencies. A person's chances of involvement in politics as a career may also be due to this combination. However, Nandan may not get much success, due to the retrogression of his Natal Saturn. He may have to pass some testing times during the elections.

Star Speak: At present, he is under the influence of Saturn return through the 6th House. Plus, Rahu is also passing through the 6th House.

What does it mean? This factor indicates partial success in politics. Due to the affliction of Natal Moon, he may face several problems on the political front. Malefic Ketu is transiting over his Ascendant Lord Venus through the 12th House means a bumpy ride in his political career.

Ananth Kumar

Star Speak: In Ananth Kumar's Surya Kundli, yogakaraka Mars is conjunct with the Lord of the 11th House of gains. Jupiter, being the Lord of the 6th House of victory is presently aspecting the 6th House of his Surya Kundli. Saturn, being the signifier of 6th House is presently aspecting the 6th and 10th Houses too.

What does it mean? Considering these planetary observations, Nandan Nilekani may find it difficult to compete with Ananth Kumar in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections of 2014. In other words, Ananth Kumar is likely to win.
