KCR announces party candidates for 8 LS and 4 Assembly constituencies

Hyderabad: Betting their hopes on a mix of new and senior leaders, TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao released the party’s first list of eight Lok Sabha candidates and second list of four Assembly nominees here on Saturday.
Mr Rao and his daughter Kavitha who are reportedly planning to contest from Medak and Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituencies, respectively, do not figure in the first list of LS nominees.
Sources in the party say that a decision would be taken after the release of Congress nominees. Mr Rao has been toying with an idea of contesting either from the Secunderabad or Malkajgiri constituency.
