Vine users can now send messages as well as videos across Android platforms
April 4, 2014: Vine, a short video sharing based social network has now added private messaging as its new feature. This app will enable you to send messages as well as videos with your Vine friends. This app also allows individuals to upload, browse and watch short video clips uploaded via mobile phones , this update has been done across all Android and iOS platforms.
To differentiate between the messages, the Vine app also offers two sections in its Message window - Friends and Others. "From Vine's early days, we recognised that there was a growing desire and need for private messaging on Vine," stated Jason Toff, Product Manager in a blog post.
