Mumbai: Former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar visited the BCCI headquarters here on Friday, the first time after being appointed as interim Presidents for IPL-related and non-IPL-related functions, respectively.
However, the details of his visit are not disclosed yet.
Earlier, before taking over the post of the interim president, Gavaskar met IPL Chairman Ranjib Biswal and the management staff in Dubai and also had a discussion with the IPL franchises.
The Supreme Court, during a hearing into the IPL spot-fixing and related issues on March 28, had passed an interim order asking Gavaskar to take over as BCCI President for IPL affairs and senior vice president Shivlal Yadav to take charge of non-IPL matters.
