SRIKAKULAM: YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy announced the names of Duvvada Srinivas for Tekkali Assembly constituency and Reddy Shanthi for Srikakulam Lok Sabha constituency, at a YSRC Janabheri public meeting at Tekkali in the district on Thursday.
During road shows at Palasa near Odisha border and at the Tekkali public meeting, the YSRC chief launched a scathing attack on Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu terming his regime as “horrific” rule.
He took potshots at Mr Naidu over pensions, unemployment, condition of farmers, ban on liquor which he termed a “gimmick”, closure of 54 public sector industries and ban on new recruitments.
Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy promised to continue all welfare schemes and establish super speciality hospitals in all the districts. He also assured quality power by 2019 and closure of belt shops.
