Mumbai: Salman Khan continues to have busy days ahead. He’s caught up with wrapping up the shoot of Kick in time for an Eid release while another film, Dr Cabbie, under his banner, Salman Khan Being Human Productions, is readying for release. The first look of this international project is all set to be unveiled soon.
“The film features Vinay Virmani in the title role. Vinay’s performance was much appreciated in Bejoy Nambiar’s David. Dr Cabbie is about this youngster from India who gains a medical degree only to find himself riding a cab in Canada. It is a light hearted-film with dramatic elements to it,” informs a source.
Salman, who was impressed by the film’s strong theme, wanted to present and produce it. “The Jean-Francois Poulliot directed film doesn’t take an overtly serious tone. Featuring Adrianne Palicki, Kunal Nayyar and Lillete Dubey in principle roles, the film is also the launch pad of Isabelle, who is Katrina’s sister.
Currently, the makers are aiming for an international release in September this year,” adds the source.
