Now BJP president Rajnath Singh’s helicopter delayed
Bastar: BJP president Rajnath Singh was on Wednesday stranded at the airstrip in Jagdalpur, headquarters of Bastar in Chhattisgarh for nearly 40 minutes following the reported delay in giving clearance to his chopper to fly by the air traffic control (ATC).
Mr Singh’s helicopter was to make a brief stopover at Jagdalpur airstrip for refuelling before flying to Kotpad in south Odisha, where he was scheduled to address an election rally.
Mr Singh was already two hours beyond schedule when he landed at Jagdalpur airstrip at around 1.30 pm. He had to wait at the airstrip for around 40 minutes before his helicopter got clearance to leave for Kotpad.
BJP leaders saw a conspiracy by Congress for the delay in giving clearance ot Mr Singh’s copter by ATC.
“They (Congress) are completely frustrated to see a Modi wave in the country. We can say that they are mentally lost and now they are indulging in cheap practices,” BJP spokesperson Shivratan Sharma said.
