Iris 550Q: A new phablet launched by Lava

Iris 550Q has been implemented with ‘One Glass Solution’ technology

April 2, 2014: Lava has launched its new phablet known as ‘Iris 550Q’, implemented with ‘One Glass Solution’ technology.Comprising of a 5.5-inch IPS HD display, it is a dual sim phablet.Iris 550Q is packed with 1GB RAM and has an inbuilt storage capacity is 4GB. This can also be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, this Irish device includes the primary and secondary camera. The primary camera comes along with BSI sensor and LED flash, with 8MP resolution and its secondary camera comprises of 2MP shooter.

 

Voice and Data also reported, ‘Lava Iris 550Q includes a 2600mAh battery, which according to the company, delivers up to 10 hours of talktime on 2G network.’

The users of this phablet can explore different connectivity options, which include 3G, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and Wi-Fi. ‘The phone runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and will also receive updates soon’ highlighted the company. Lava Iris 550Q will soon be available on stands at Rs13,000.
