Reject Andhra parties, says K Chandrashekhar Rao
Hyderabad: Cautioning people not to vote “Andhra political parties” since they would not do justice to Telangana, TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao promised to fulfil the dreams of the region if voted to power.
“New state needs new leadership. TRS should be in power to transform the region into a bangaru (golden) Telangana. I understand your needs and I alone can fulfil it. There is no need for Andhra parties in Telangana. Elect TRS,” he said.
Taking the election battle into former Deputy CM Damodar Raja Narasimha’s Andole Assembly constituency, the TRS chief said Telangana should have its own regional party TRS in power like Trinamul in West Bengal, AIADMK in Tamil Nadu besides Odisha and Maharashtra.
“If you vote Naidu, he will sing Andhra song. We should have our own TRS party in power. We will come to power in one month,” he said, adding Andhra government employees in Telangana should go to their region to ensure jobs to locals.
Promising to wipe out political corruption, he said he would not hesitate to punish even if his son, daughter commits a mistake.
He blamed the Congress and TD misrule for the severe power crisis, farmers and weavers suicides lack of irrigation, medicare, education and other facilities to the people in Telangana.
“If you feed grass to a donkey, how can you expect milk from the cow? Give grass to the cow to get milk. Similarly, give TRS power to fulfil your dreams. Don’t get confused by claims of parties. I promised you Telangana and I got it though many did not believe,” he said.
