Stars favour Narendra Modi, Telengana Rashtriya Samiti
Hyderabad: According to astrologers, the coming year will see BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi occupying the top post, YSRC winning 140-145 seats in Seemandhra and Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu faring well too.
Pundits who read out the Panchanga Shravanam on the occasion of Jaya Nama Samvastram, the first Ugadi celebrations after the bifurcation of the state, at the party offices of the TDP, the YSRC, the Congress, the BJP and others, foretold the leaders of success in their endeavors.
TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao celebrated Ugadi at home and there was no official function held at the Telangana Bhavan.
Astrologer and numerologist Rammgopaall has been consistently predicting a big win for the TRS in Telangana.
Santosh Kumar Sastry, astrologer and Vedic scholar from Dharmapuri in Karimnagar district, predicted a bright future for BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
“Modi’s stars are very bright. He is strong and has the capacity and power to occupy the top post. He will reach the pinnacle of glory. No one can stop his success. People will benefit under his rule,” said Mr Sastry.
For Telugu Desam president, Mr Naidu, too, the stars are bright; but the astrologer refrained from making political predictions except wishing him all success.
“Going by Mr Naidu’s personal profile, his stars are bright,” astrologer Srinivas Gargeya said.
He also predicted instability, unrest in Telangana and Seemandhra, problems for rulers, natural calamities between September 17 and October 17.
Meanwhile astrologer Srinivas Murthy, at Ugadi celebrations in Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee office, Indira Bhavan, said that all parties were passing through turmoil and the year would be mix of “sweet and sour”.
Union minister K. Chiranjeevi, who graced the occasion, asked party leaders and cadres to be optimistic in the coming polls. “Don’t give up hope. Let us live in hope and expect success,” he said.
Interestingly, the Congress sources said that the astrologer was requested to avoid election predictions.
Former chief minister and president of Jai Samaikyandhra Party N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, who performed a puja at his party office along with party leaders, hoped that the new year would bring happiness and prosperity for Telugus around the world.
“I believe that Telugus will always be united and no one can divide a united Andhra,” he said.
