Sonam’s Doli takes off

Mumbai: The shoot of Sonam Kapoor’s next film Dolly Ki Doli kickstarted in Nashik yesterday. We hear that before rolling the camera, the team, including producer Arbaaz Khan, visited a famous church in the vicinity to pray for the success of their film.

A source says, “The team visited the Infant Jesus shrine in Nashik. The locals were quite excited to see stars in their vicinity and there was some commotion also. The team patiently interacted with everyone and they seemed well on track to start rolling on the occasion of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, which is considered an auspicious day to begin new projects.”

Speaking of Sonam, the film’s leading lady, the source adds, “Sonam plays a runaway bride in the film and has been experimenting with different looks. The crew members kept teasing her that this film could be a dress rehearsal for her own real life wedding.”
