Apple plans to introduce ‘iTunes’ app for Android

This will enable Android users to download the iTune digital music library

March 31, 2014: Apple has now decided to make the ‘iTunes’ app available on Android phones soon. The iTunes App stores already has official Google apps for Google Play Music, Google Books and Google Play Movies.

‘Apple has opened exploratory talks with senior label executives for the launch of an on-demand streaming service that would rival Spotify and Beats Music,’ reported Billboard. The decline in the download sales of Apple’s iTunes Music Store could be one of the major reasons for it to adopt this kind of strategy.

This will enable individuals to download the iTune digital music library and attract more people towards this app.
