Rajnikanth’s ‘Kochadaiyaan’ release postponed once again
Mumbai:Looks like the release of Superstar Rajinikanth’s 'Kochadaiyaan' is being postponed for the second time! After several delays, it was officially announced that the Soundarya Ashwin-directed film would hit the marquee on April 11. But, inside sources now told DC that the film may not get released as planned since the post-production work in other languages, including Hindi, is still going on and the makers do not want to hurry this. They need more time, probably until May 1, added the source. The movie is getting released in multiple languages, namely Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Bengali and Punjabi, and the makers have announced a simultaneous release. Except for Tamil where the filmhas been cleared with a clean U certification from the censors, the other language versions are yet to get theirs.
Meanwhile, the trailer launch of the Hindi 'Kochadaiyaan' took place on Sunday at Cinemax Theater in Mumbai where Rajini, Deepika and the entire cast and crew of the filmwere present, with Amitabh Bachchan, Subhash Ghai and Ramesh Sippy being the chief invitees.
Now, actor Vishal whose upcoming movie 'Naan Sigappu Manithan '(which is apparently the title of Rajini’s yesteryear blockbuster) which is touted for an April 11 release, can relax as his will be the solo major release on the festive weekend.
