Smart hand sanitizer dispenser in a door handle

Hospitals, schools and public places can benefit from this unique smart hand sanitizer dispenser

Who ever thought of putting a hand-sanitizing dispenser in a door handle? Well, a company named Altitude Medial has come up with a concept product called PullClean, which is more than a simple sanitizer dispenser. It is a smart dispenser, which doubles up as a door handle.

Imagine a doctor doing his rounds visiting patients from room to room, or a waiter at the hotel moving from the restaurant to the kitchen. He can pass through doors by simply pressing the button on the door handles, and the dispenser spurts out a small amount to sanitizer on his hands which he / she can clean on they way.

But wait, there’s more to it. The dispenser is not a simple bottle with a spout and a bottle with the liquid stored in it. The handle / dispenser is smart and integrates an intelligent circuit inside it, which can be linked using Wi-Fi signals to a simple USB dongle. The USB dongle can then be plugged into your PC and using a software you can monitor the amount of liquid it contains, the amount of times it has been used and also monitors how many times the door has been opened compared to the amount of times it has been used. A daily or weekly report with a graph can be displayed and printed for logs. Each PullClean unit is a pair of handle dispensers, which is estimated to cost around $200 when it goes on sale.
