Sabir Ali in BJP angers Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi; alleges him as Yasin Bhatkal friend

New Delhi: It appears open warfare has erupted within the BJP. The saffron brigade was hit on Friday by another wave of resentment over the controversial induction of expelled JD(U) leader Sabir Ali. Fuming over this, BJP vice-chief and leading Muslim face Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi tweeted: “Terrorist Bhatkal friend join BJP ... soon accepting dawood”.

It is learnt that the RSS too has raised objections. Mr Naqvi didn’t stop there, but also accused Sabir Ali of “providing shelter to terrorist Yasin Bhatkal”. He asked how could he and his party “support someone linked to a terrorist”.

He made it clear “this was a mistake committed by the BJP, and needs to be rectified”. Mr Naqvi argued that if the BJP could oust Ram Sene founder Pramod Muthalik over “hardcore Hindutva issues... how can it justify induction of someone linked to terrorists?”

Only a few days back the BJP was under fire for inducting Muthalik.
