King, the maker of the famous addictive game Candy Crush, is worth $7 billion
King, the company behing the famous and addictive games such as Candy Crush, Farm Heroes, Pet Rescue, Papa Pear and Bubble Witch, has filed its IPO, which states the company being worth more than $7 billion.
Engadget reported that almost 100 million users play Candy Crush every dingle day. Though the games are free, the company makes its money through ads, virtual good, additional levels and in-app purchases.
The company’s shares are valued at $22.50, which raised $500 million, and the early investors value the company at a whopping $7 billion.
Apparently, the company is not going public because it needs the money, but it is doing so to make future acquisitions.
