Elections 2014: CPM announces candidates for Lok Sabha, state polls
CPM has become the first party to announce candidates for the LS and Assembly polls
Hyderabad: The CPM has become the first party to announce candidates for the LS and Assembly polls. It announced candidates for three Lok Sabha and five Assembly candidates in Telangana, indicating its decision not to have any truck with the CPI, its ally in local body polls.
Indications are that the CPM may sail with the YSRC, while the CPI is trying to forge an alliance with the Congress and TRS.
For the Lok Sabha, the CPM has fielded Sameena (Khammam), Nandyala Narasimha Reddy (Nalgonda) and Cherupalli Seetharamulu (Bhuvanagiri). The CPM also announced candidates for four more Assembly seats in Telangana.
