Panasonic launches wearable camera ‘HX-A500’
March 25, 2014:Panasonic has launched its new wearable action camcorder known as ‘HX-A500’. This camera features NFC and Wi-Fi, which enables the user to connect to a smartphone or tablet for editing remotely.
This device has been divided into two important sections which include its body and a lens, attached to its 1.5-inch LCD monitor. Its main unit is separate from the lens unit and one can mount the lens at face level and perform hands-free shooting. The lightweight lens unit is comfortable to wear, making it easy to capture point of view sports or your daily adventure.
The head mount has been attached with ear system support system as well. Its armband-style case makes it durable. Different mounts enable easy shooting in different situations, enabling flexibility.
Digital Journal also reported, ‘The 4K video capture feature can help the user in receiving a better photo resolution, as compared to Full HD.’ Its 4K recording at 30 fps ensures smooth motion.
HX-A500 can shoot up to maximum 160 degree ultra wide angle for an immersive view. BSI sensor, that has been installed in this camera can shoot higher sensitive videos.
EIS Image Stabilisation, Level Shot functionality, IPX8 waterproofing are some of its additional features.
