Mumbai: Inventors in Canada have unveiled the bizarre gadget, which emits aromas that make users feel like they are tasting flavours of ginger, coffee or banana as they eat their meal.
According to the Daily Mail, Molecule-R has unveiled its one-of-a-kind dining fork called Aromafork, a peice of cutlery specially designed to create an olfactory experience. Blotting paper is maintained underneath the fork handle, allowing volatile components in a liquid aroma to be diffused upon absorption.
"The idea was to reinvent the traditional fork and make it into an improved utensil that would liberate the flow of aromas," explained Jonathan Coutu, president of Molecule-R.
