Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan has directed officials to complete formalities regarding the key issues connected with the state’s reorganisation by May 15.
On Saturday the Governor held a review meeting with senior officials at the Raj Bhavan. The Governor directed the officials to complete the process well before June 2, the deadline for the formation of two states and for elected governments to take over.
The Governor told Chief Secretary Mohanty not to sanction any foreign tours or leave to officials till the reorganisation of both the states is complete.
The Chief Secretary and other senior government officials made a detailed presentation to the Governor on the state’s reorganisation and the key issues connected with it like the timelines and the action plan being implemented by various departments.
