BJP cannot dictate who should be AAP candidates: Arvind Kejriwal

AAP chief was greeted with black flags as he began his roadshow in Faridabad

Faridabad: Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday remained firm of not doing anything wrong in putting up Rakhi Birla as a candidate for next month's Lok Sabha polls, and also negated the effect of black flags being allegedly shown at him while he was campaigning for the polls.

"Why were they showing black flags, what are their demands? We will not ask the Bharatiya Janata Party before deciding on giving away tickets to our candidates. We have not done anything unethical, or, have we resorted to accepting money. Rakhi Birla is a good candidate. Hence, we have given her a ticket," Kejriwal said.

Earlier, in the day, while Kejriwal was canvassing for its candidates in Faridabad, he was greeted with black flags as a group of people gathered at the point where the AAP chief was scheduled to begin his roadshow.
