New Delhi: A 20-year-old Congolese national was allegedly raped in South Delhi by two cloth merchants on Friday afternoon, police has said.
In her statement to the police, the girl has said that she was raped inside her house in Hauz Rani area in Malviya Nagar at around 12.30 pm.
The girl has also said that the cloth sellers knocked at her house’s door on the pretext of selling clothes. She was engrossed in choosing the clothes when the duo dragged her inside one of the rooms and raped her.
The victim was later taken for medical examination.
Sources also suggest that the victim would often threaten her landlord that she would frame him in a rape case.
