Arjun Vajpai set to summit Mt. Makalu again

Along with Vajpai, Krushnaa Patil would be joining the expedition

New Delhi: Indian mountaineer Arjun Vajpai is all set to scale Mt. Makalu - a peak he unsuccessfully tried to climb in 2013.

The youngest to scale Mt. Everest, Vajpai had to return 100 metre short of the fifth highest mountain in the world due to bad weather and shortage of ropes.

The expedition is part of the 20-year-old mountaineer's quest to become the first Indian to climb all the fourteen 8,000 m peaks in the world. Only 32 climbers in the world have scaled all these peaks.

Along with Vajpai, Krushnaa Patil of Pune would be joining the expedition. Vibhu Pandey, a photographer and wild-life explorer, would be filming Arjun and Krushnaa's journey to the summit of Makalu.

This video series will show the real lifestyle of mountaineers from over eight countries who will be joining Arjun in this expedition.
