ICC World T20: India vs Pakistan, how weather, pitch, teams shape up

As per the weather report, the match does not face any rain-threat

Mirpur: The arch-rivals India and Pakistan will play the first game of Super 10 at the ICC World T20 2014. This game, like most of the India- Pakistan will be intense. Here is how the weather and pitch are expected to behave.

Weather:
The weather conditions in Mirpur won’t be too taxing on players. The expected maximum temperature is 35°C while the minimum temperature (expected) will be 20° C in the night.

As per the weather report, the match does not face any rain-threat. Overall, the skies will be clear with wind But considering the game starts at 7.00 p.m. (IST), the dew will be key factor. However, its impact will be lesser as it is not a 50-over game.

Pitch:
The pitches in Bangladesh like most of the pitches in Indian sub-continent favour batsmen. The pitch in Mirpur won't be much different. It will be batsman friendly and offer more assistance to spinners and/or slow bowlers.
