Mumbai: For the popular song, 'Ram Chahe Leela Chahe' from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Ram Leela', which had Priyanka Chopra in a seducing act, there were rumours of Aishwarya Rai being approached for it first. But what is not known is the real reason behind the actress deciding not to consider Bhansali's offer as a comeback vehicle.

It is rumoured that Bhansali offered her completely different lyrics. A part of the lyrics were 'Thappad se dar nahi lagta, pyaar se dar lagta hai.' For those who don't know, this is a popular dialogue from Salman starrer 'Dabangg'.

When Aishwarya heard it, she was reportedly shocked that Bhansali could come to her with such lyrics. But a true professional, the actress asked him to change the lyrics before she would decide on performing to it.

Bhansali is known to approach more than one actor for any project. While he discussed the song with Aishwarya, Priyanka was also kept in the loop and was offered a song in the film for the same situation.

However, it remains unknown why Priyanka, who eventually did the song, was given completely different lyrics.

Bhansali was definitely trying something which didn't go his way.
