Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be waterproof

Three Korean vendors, including LG, are launching waterproof phones this year

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Note 4 and has interestingly stated it to be a waterproof phone. As reported by Softpedia, three Korean vendors, which include Samsung, LG and Vega, are all developing waterproof technologies and will incorporate these in their upcoming flagship models. PhoneArena stated that Samsung could opt for their Silicon Moulding in the Galaxy Note 4, which is the same used in the Galaxy S5.

LG has already announced that it will be launching the G3 as a waterproof phone in the market. It is noted that since Motorola and Sony launched their waterproof and dustproof phones, the market is increasingly moving towards these technologies due to increased demand. Also noted is the Wammy Passion X, which is a Chinese made smartphone by Wickedleak in India, has already accepted a technology to provide high-end waterproof smartphones on a budget, in India.
