Kejriwal will defeat Modi by at least 1 lakh votes, says confident AAP
New Delhi: After the spectacular win in Delhi assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party is confident of repeating the victory story in 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
‘Zee Media’ has reported that AAP leader Sanjay Singh said on Thursday said that party chief Kejriwal will defeat Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi by at least one lakh votes.
Singh also challenged Congress President Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi to contest against Modi and Kejriwal from Varanasi, terming Digvijay Singh as a weak contender against Modi.
According to various media reports, Digvijay Singh had expressed his wish to the party to fight against Modi in Varanasi. Although, no official confirmation regarding the same has been made by the Congress.
Meanwhile, Kejriwal had already declared to defeat Modi. He had said that he will hold a rally in Hindu holy town in Uttar Pradesh to come to a decision if people want him to take on Modi.
