Bengaluru: Five security guards, who were partying on the eve of Holi on Sunday, went shooting at each other and one of them was found dead in a labour shed in Chuvalkkere, off Sarjapura Road in H.S.R. Layout police station limits on Sunday. The dead guard was also found to have been stabbed.
The deceased was Harinder Singh, aged around 25 years and a native of Madhya Pradesh.He was working as a security guard for a private bank in Domlur. Other labourers living in adjacent sheds denied hearing any gunshots, but admitted that they heard arguments throughout the evening. The police arrived around 8 pm and seized four guns and a fired bullet from the spot. The body was then shifted to Victoria Hospital for postmortem.
All the four guards have absconded after the incident. The cops are waiting for the postmortem and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reports to ascertain the cause of death.The labourers also reportedly saw stab injuries on the body of the deceased when the police arrived at the spot. HSR Layout police have registered a case.
