Ganta son assaults conductor at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport
Ex-minister's son pick up fight with conductor after drinks at the bar

Hyderabad: Former minister Ganta Srinivas Rao’s son Ravi Teja was booked for creating ruckus when in an allegedly inebriated condition at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Monday. He and a friend allegedly verbally abused and manhandled an APSRTC bus conductor at the Pushpak bus counter.
Ravi and his friends were at the airport to see off another friend. They sat in a bar at the airport drinking. Later, at around 5.30 am, they went to the bus counter and started making a nuisance of themselves. Ramesh Goud, a conductor, told them to move away. Agitated by this, Ravi Teja and his friend Indrajith attacked the conductor, who threatened to call the police.
“The duo verbally abused Ramesh Goud and also manhandled him. They pushed him down,” said sub-inspector of the RGI Airport police Srinivas.
Based on a complaint by Ramesh Goud, a case under Sections 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the IPC has been filed and is being probed. The two men were arrested and produced before a magistrate. They were sent to 14 days judicial remand and shifted to the Cherlapally Central jail.
