Actor Allu Arjun’s borderline offensive gaffe at Shruthi Haasan

HYDERABAD: Allu Arjun had a blooper during the audio launch of Race Gurram. While talking about his co star Shruti, the actor had a slip of tongue for which he immediately apologised. About how Shruti was an inspiration as she wanted to lead her own life despite her celebrity parents, the actor said, “I told her that you are a superstar’s daughter... nee yamma…” As ripples of laughter spread through the crowd, Allu Arjun realised his gaffe and immediately said, “Sorry, sorry,” adding, “She is an inspiration for me.”

Not surprisingly, the Telugu channel that telecasted the programme later, removed this boothu (cuss word).
