Chandrababu Naidu calls KCR 'punk'; Jaganmohan Reddy 'psycho'

HYDERABAD: Sounding the election bugle in Telangana, during his Praja Garjana here on Saturday, Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu warned the people to be vigilant about TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao, alleging that the latter is capable of selling Telangana.

Addressing a big gathering at the Pavilion Grounds here, Mr Naidu come down heavily on YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Mr Rao. He called them as psycho and punk, respectively. Mr Jagan had surpassed his father, Mr Naidu quipped, stating that their forte is nothing, but corruption.

Mr Naidu vowed to improve the standard of living of the Adivasis in the Agency.

Care will be taken from KG to PG, he said, explaining the steps to be taken for education and health of tribals.

Referring to the attachment of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy's assets by the Enforcement Directorate, Mr Naidu said that the YSR Congress chief had set a record of sorts in corruption.

He also assured the mining university and an airport at Kothagudem. Host of state leaders MP Nama Nageswara Rao, former minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Motkupalli Narsimhulu, Seetakka, Uma Madhava Reddy, Ramesh Rathod, Poltla Nageswara Rao, party district chief Kondabala Koteswara Rao, Balasani Lakshminarayana and Vuke Abbaiah were present.

The Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, is a puppet in the hands of AICC president Sonia Gandhi, the TD chief alleged.

The TD supremo said that good days are ahead as their party will play a key role in national politics.

Revive your fighting spirit of yesteryears to show the door to the Congress, Mr Naidu said, reminding that Khammam is the birthplace of many agitations like Sayudhaporatam and also Telangana agitation. He urged the people to put a full stop to opportunistic parties like the TRS, the Congress and the YSR Congress.
