Mugdha has a ‘phat’ing great time

Mugdha Godse got a gash on her face while shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi

Mugdha Godse is just back from the shoot of her first reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. It has not been a smooth ride for her, not that she had expected it to be. But now, she has come back with a gash on her face, something that can be disastrous to an actress’ career. Mugdha, however, hopes that it will heal soon. She says, “Yes it is a massive scar, I’m covering it with the help of makeup for now. I also suffered a shoulder injury.”

The actress says that even though she has worked with Rohit Shetty in the past, it was his presence that scared her the most. She says, “Rohit can be wicked. When I was offered the show, I had sleepless nights thinking about whether or not I should go for it. He would shout at us but that helped us put in our best. By the time Rohit would explain the task, I would feel, yeh dharti phat jaaye aur mein usme samaa jau (I wish the earth would split open and just swallow me). We came up with a new term ‘phating levels’ and with every new task our ‘phating levels’ were really high. Gauhar Khan even came up with a ‘phating dance’, Rochelle Maria Rao would start laughing like a mad woman due to nervousness. During one task, I was so scared that I started crying bitterly. Of course, later I was very embarrassed about it. I asked everyone if my mascara ran down my face.”

ugdha says that even though she is quite an adventure junkie, this experience was something else. She says, “I enjoy trekking and have toured the Himalayas. I have also done bungee jumping but here we had to be in the same river as crocodiles and jump off a plane and so on.”

The actress claims that she has had her share of reality shows for now but adds, “Never say never.” The actress, who is currently shooting for No Rules for Fools, is all praise for “Queen” Kangna Ranaut. “That was the last film I saw and I loved Kangna’s performance. I have worked with her in Fashion and she is fantastic.”
