Google Maps for Android is just gone a step ahead in giving you some more informing apart from just showing you your way around. Google put up the post yesterday informing everyone about the service, which will now update you on the upcoming events and performances around the place you are looking for. However, these will only be shown if the listings are available for that area.
So if you are hunting for a route to a particular hot entertainment zone, Google Maps will also include the additional information below the address on your screen.
