Elections 2014: Sonia Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal to campaign in April
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Most national leaders of political parties are expected to arrive in the state by the end of this month and first week of April to campaign for their respective candidates. The state goes to polls on April 10.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi are expected to lead the campagin in the first week of Apirl. The Congress central leadership has asked the KPCC to finalise the tour programme of the leaders.
Left leaders including Prakash Karat, Sitaram Yechury, Brinda Karat, S Ramachandran Pillai, Sudhakar Reddy and D Raja will be campaigning later this month and during first week of April. Top BJP leaders who are concentrating on northern states, will also be campaigning in the state especially in constituencies like Thiruvananthapuram and Kasargod in April.
Aam Aadmi Party is planning a road show of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in constituencies were the party has put up formidable candidates.
