Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena: First day first show hit
Hyderabad: Actor Pawan Kalyan gave what he described as a clarion call to defeat the Congress in the upcoming elections to save the country while announcing the launch of his new political outfit, Jana Sena, here on Friday.
“I am sick and tired of the Congress which is responsible for today’s plight of the Telugus and for dividing the state, endangering the security and integrity of the country,” he said.
During his speech that sent thousands of his die-hard fans at the HICC venue and those watching him elsewhere into frenzy, the actor-turned-politician touched every sensitive and contentious issue including the state’s division and criticism against his personal life.
He, however, spoke about the issues to his audience in a language that connected him with his fans, though it appeared filmi at times. “I don’t know the language of politicians so we better talk in our language,” he said amidst cheering by the crowds.
Wearing a simple brown kurta and white pyjama and sporting a beard, Pawan spoke extempore for most part of his two-hour-long speech and kept the audience hooked on to his every word.
Power star goes ballistic
- Pawan to talk to Chandrababu Naidu on forming new political front
- Kavita amma, You are like my sister. You have to give an account of where you got donations to Telangana Jagruti from. Many people donated money to it. You should get the account ready and answer to the people of Telangana, not me.
- Sonia Gandhi is accountable to the people. She should visit Botsa’s constituency and face the wrath of the people. She is answerable to them on why her party had to divide Andhra Pradesh in 23 minutes when they had five years.
