A small town boy from Ranchi, a ticket collector and going on to becoming a global name in the world of Cricket, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has seen it all. And to capture the entire journey on celluloid, reports suggests that Neeraj Pandey will be making a film on the cricketer. In fact, the cricketer has already given a nod to the script and will be giving his inputs whenever necessary.
Sushant Singh Rajput, in 'Kai Po Che' played a role of ex-district level cricketer but to play this part, reportedly he will have to go through a lot of preparations. Sushant has also gone to Ranchi and met the locals to understand the environment in which Dhoni grew up.
Neeraj Pandey has directed critically acclaimed films like A Wednesday and Special 26 and he will have to do a lot of research to do justice to the iconic stature of MS Dhoni. As per the reports, the film is likely to take off in 2015 and will be shot in locations like Jharkhand, London and South Africa.
