Washington: A revolutionary waterless toilet powered by the sun, will launch in India soon. This is a self-contained toilet can convert human waste into biochar, a highly porous charcoal.
These toilets have been developed to help create healthy sanitation for around 2.5 billion people. It has been designed using a USD 777,000 grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
