Alagiri to decide his future course of action after consulting his supporters

New Delhi: Denied a ticket and embarrassing the party by meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, suspended DMK MP M.K. Alagiri on Thursday said he would decide his future course of action after consulting his supporters amidst reports that he may float his own outfit.
The former Union minister, elected from Madurai Lok Sabha constituency, described his meeting with the PM as a “courtesy call” who regretted that DMK left the UPA.
“Please wait for two months. I would reveal my stand after consulting my supporters,” Mr Alagiri, the elder son of DMK chief M. Karunanidhi, said after meeting the Prime Minister.
