Ghazala, who did a number of Telugu and Tamil films, including Ezhumalai, Jore, Raam, Madarasi, Raman Thediya Seethai and Durai, vanished from the scene. The bubbly actress is back with a bang and is ready to scorch the screen with her sizzling looks.
The reason for her long hiatus, she says, is that she wanted to complete her education which she left at a very young age for films.
“I wanted to complete my graduation to get social respect, and of course, I returned to my first love, acting, to get fame,” she says.
Why did she return to tinsel town and not take up an academic career?
“This is a vibrant and creative field where we can prove our skills and gain popularity too. In a country of 100-plus crore population there is a huge possibility of being unnoticed and not all can be blessed to be stars. I’m lucky to state that I’m one among the few. Nowhere can you get the kind of name and fame you acquire through the movies.”
On her role models she says, “Nadhiya, Revathy and Shalini are my inspirations.” Having decided to start her second innings in Tamil, the pretty actress has done a photo shoot to prove that she is fighting fit. She says that she wants to concentrate on Tamil movies and sustain a place for herself
