'Buddha Hoga Tera Baap', says Amitabh at 71
Amitabh Bachchan is 71 and still runs around from one set to another like a new comer. While the younger generation of actors are always in demand, it's when they age that roles they were once known for stop coming their way. Hence, actors like Shatrughan Sinha, Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna are seen in very few movies, but there is still no stopping for Amitabh Bachchan.
'Deccan Chronicle' has reliably learnt that for the next couple of months, Amitabh Bachchan will be working non-stop without a break. He has recently wrapped up a song with Honey Singh for 'Bhoothnath Returns' at the outskirts of Mumbai.
He is most likely to go to Gujarat this week and shoot for an endorsement. He comes back next week and start shooting for the TV serial made by Anurag Kashyap for approximately 20-25 days. Mid-April he starts shooting for R Balki which stars Dhanush and Akshara Hassan. He will shoot for this film in Mumbai and an overseas location for around 35 to 40 days. In between all this, he has also allotted dates to promote 'Bhoothnath Returns' that is slated to release on April 11. By first week of June, he is expected to begin shooting on Shoojit Sircar’s next with Irrfan and Deepika Padukone.
Amitabh only stops when his health forces him to take rest for a few days. Otherwise, he truely endorses the title of an earlier film: 'Budha hoga tera baap' he truly endorses that line.
