ASUS Announces R7 265 DirectCU II Graphics Card

The Card's new technology delivers 20 percent cooler and three times quieter operation

ASUS today announced R7 265 DirectCU II, a new graphics card powered by the latest AMD Radeon R7 265 graphics-processing unit (GPU). R7 265 DirectCU II include various ASUS technologies and tools, including DirectCU II for 20percent cooler and three times (3X) quieter gaming performance. Additionally, the Super Alloy Power components are incorporated improved longevity.

GPU Tweak, an easy-to-use software tool is provided, which allows users to squeeze more performance out of the GPU. The R7 265 DirectCU II has a base clock speed of 900MHz that can ramp all the way up to 925MHz when boosted. The new card also supports resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels, so gamers can enjoy both higher performance and better visuals.

Specifications for the card are as follows. PCI Express 3.0 port, 2 GB of GDDR5 video memory, 925MHz boost clock, 900MHz base clock, 5600MHz (1400MHz GDDR5) memory clock, 1024 stream processors, 1 x DVI-D port, 1 x DVD-I port, 1 x HDMI output, and 1 x DisplayPort (DP). The ASUS R7265-DC2-2GD5 is priced at Rs 14,500 excluding all taxes.
