Kate Winslet to be honoured with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
London: Oscar-winner Kate Winslet is all set to be honoured with a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Winslet, 38, who would join the select group of 2,500 famous personalities after receiving the honour, will be presented with the star by her 'Titanic' director James Cameron and co-star Kathy Bates next week, reported Daily Express.
"We are so happy that Kate Winslet will be here on our famous boulevard of dreams receiving her well-deserved star. We've seen Kate shine in her roles and fans around the world have been anxiously waiting for this special day to come," Ana Martinez, who organises the ceremonies, said.
Winslet will be the 2,520th person to be honoured with a star on the famous tourist attraction. Helen Mirren, Colin Firth and Emma Thompson among others have also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
