ICC World T20 2014: Know your captain
Nawroz Mangal leads the spirited Afghanistan side in the ICC World T20. - Faf du Plessis has led South Africa in T20s. But ICC World T20 will be his first ICC event as a captain. South Africa, barring a Champions Trophy don’t have any ICC trophy in their trophy cabinet. Faf du Plessis has a good opportunity to change that
- Pakistan have been one of the most consistent teams in ICC World T20. Mohammad Hafeez too have a healthy win-loss ratio of 4-2. He and Pakistan will like to strengthen their record in the tournament.
- Netherland having nothing to lose but everything to gain in ICC World T20 2014. During the ICC World T20 in England, Netherland had upset England by beating them at Lords. And captain Borren will welcome such performances in this edition of World
- Ireland are known to upset the big teams in the ICC tournaments. But if Porterfield has to better his record of 5 losses and 1 win in ICC World T20, Ireland need to find a greater consistency.
- ICC World T20 2014 will be Mushfiqur Rahim’s first opportunity to captain Bangladesh in an ICC event.
