iPod rival PonoMusic will cost just $399

PonoMusic, an alternative to the highly popular iPod, will pit against its rival at $399

PonoMusic is a high-definition music player which will compete against the rival iPod in the market. A Kickstarter project, which funded the plan, is finally out and will be available shortly. The 128GB Pono player can store up to 2,000 high-definition music albums and is made with zero-feedback circuitry. The storage can be further expanded using memory cards.

The device will also be accompanied with its own digital media management software, which will allow the user to download and sync music to the player. Presently, there are limited details of the product until the final launch this month and the discounted products will follow soon on their website.
