Reason for choosing Lucia remake
I loved the original version of the film, and I immediately agreed to be part of its Tamil remake. It has a very good script, and gives scope to showcase my acting skills as I play a dual role in the film.
Upcoming projects
I am getting good opportunities in Tamil now, and as it’s too early I can’t reveal more. Also, even in Sandalwood, I have always been choosy, and do only one or two films a year. I don’t mind taking time to give a good output. So I believe in the same formula in Tamil. I am eager to work in K’town more.
Has anyone said that you look like Samantha?
No, but they have compared me with many other actresses in K’town. Many have said that I look like a pure south Indian when I wear a salwar. They compared me with quite a few when I wore different costumes.
One thing you like about the Tamil industry
It’s the love for the language that K’town filmmakers have. Seeing that, I wish to learn Tamil very soon. Also, the technicians in this industry are more passionate in whatever they do. They work at lightning speed.
Romance on screen
I really can’t name only one actor I would like to work with. All the actors in K’town are brilliant, and their acting skills are really good. I wish to share screen space with most of them if I get an opportunity.
