Former Karnataka CM will contest from his home constituency Shimoga

Bengaluru- Former Karnataka CM, B.S. Yeddyurappa and Sadananda Gowda happen to be the most prominent faces in the first list of Karnataka BJP candidates of Lok Sabha elections, which was announced on Saturday.
While Mr Yeddyurappa will be contesting from Shimoga, ousting sitting MP B.Y.
Raghavendra, Sadananda Gowda will contest from Bengaluru North. The party’s national general secretary H.N. Ananth kumar will contest from Bengaluru South Lok Sabha constituency. Interestingly, except B.S.Yeddyurappa, none of his supporters got place in the first list. The party has been unable to finalise candidates to Mysore, Mandya, Hassan, Udupi Chikmagaluru, Kolar, Tumkur, Bellary and Bidar Lok Sabha constituencies.
