Beat the heat with these clever cocktails

It’s summer time and brunches and parties are the order of the day. Belvedere – with its velvety, vanilla notes, meticulously handcrafted body can be stirred into some of the classic hopefuls that can turn a party around. Here are our party favourites.

Berry Caipiroska

Recipe

50 ml Belvedere Vodka, 10 ml simple syrup, 3 raspberries, 2 small wedges of lime

Method

Select the fruit combination and place on the base of a rocks glass. Add simple syrup and muddle. Add vodka and a small scoop of crushed ice. Gently stir before topping with more crushed ice and corresponding garnish.

Recipe

40 ml Belvedere Vodka / PG

20 ml pink grapefruit juice

15 ml cinnamon syrup

Dash fresh lemon juice

Method

Combine all ingredients in a tin and shake with ice. Fine strain over crushed ice into a rocks glass and garnish with a pink grapefruit wedge.

Pommy Garden

Recipe

50 ml Belvedere Vodka, 20 ml pomegra- nate juice, 20 ml fresh lemon juice, 10 ml simple syrup, a handful of fresh mint.

Method

Gently press mint and simple syrup in to the base of a mixing tin. Combine remaining the ingredients with ice and shake vigorously. Fine strain into coupette and garnish with a lemon twist.

Jack Horner

Recipe

50 ml Vodka, 20 ml lemon juice, 15 ml cinnamon syrup, 3 fresh blackberries, Dash egg white

Method

Gently muddle blackberries in a shaker with cinnamon syrup. Combine remaining ingredients and dry shake to emulsify egg white. Add ice and shake vigorously. Fine strain into a chilled coupette and garnish with grated cinnamon.
