It’s clear that midfield maestro Oscar likes to keep his feet on the ground after the 22-year-old decided to snub the Chelsea team bus and walk home on his own after his side’s 3-1 win against west London rivals Fulham.
The Brazilian was spotted telling Chelsea officials that he wouldn’t be needing a lift home. Sky Sports News reporter Andy Burton took to Twitter to share the news: ‘A 1st for me covering the Premier League. Have just seen Oscar tell officials he doesn’t need to find the team bus as he’s walking home!’
Oscar played 78 minutes of the west London derby after recovering from an ankle injury that had kept him on the sidelines.
